after alot of research, i'm not just studing the 50's, i've moved to the 60's too after watching Factory Girl with Sienna Miller.

The first one is my own take Andy Warhol's Coca-Cola image. And it's in black and white to give it that film reel effect, because Warhol was into making his own films.

The second one is a copy of photographs of Edie Sedgewick i found. and i've displayed them like the old photobooth photographs.

Magazines and David Bailey

This is an oldie, but i love it so i thought i'd post it.
I was copying famous photographs from old magazine covers like i-D and Vogue. and also a lot of David Bailey's work. (lots of Jean Shrimpton) i was going through a Bailey phase.

This bunch of photos was my first attempt at fashion photography, and using an SLR.

This is the development work for the Portraits and Still Life unit.
I've used my friends as models, and i must say they're pretty cute!

I think the first one looks like a Gap ad or something...

Barbie

AS Level Photography.
Theme was Portraits and Still Life. I chose to combine them both with Barbie.

This interpretation was to show a different side to Barbie. Ironic that Barbie would have plastic surgery (considering shes already plastic)

infact if Barbie were a real person, she would be 7ft, weigh 100 lbs., wear a size 4, her feet would be so small so she wouldn't be able to walk, and her neck would be twice the size. Her measurements would be 39"/19"/33". So she would snap in half.

This photograph was meant to be humerous. i don't know why i covered her eyes, maybe i was intending to say that even Barbie feels insecure.

I know when it comes to the facts, shes a doll. but believe it or not this photograph has caused some arguments.

in these photographs i was using Barbie as my "model", and trying to make her look realistic. Like a human, not a plastic doll.

Woke up this morning to a beautiful white blanket covering the ground.
this was an obvious photo op. So i got the camera out and took a few shots all before college, and this was my result.

As Level Photography Exam

The theme was ALPHABET, so I based it on LOVE LETTERS.

This letter is lyrics from the song "Too Close For Comfort" by McFly.

The letter is in French as I thought it would be more romantic. If you translate it is some song lyrics, can't remember what ones as i used loads. I wasn't that good at French in school so it may not make any sense.

I think the song is the same one. And I used an online translator...
